Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between bamboo charcoal and quick-light charcoal?

Bamboo charcoal burns longer and at a higher temperature
but takes more time to ignite. It's suitable for a variety of commercial and home BBQ needs, helping you create delicious barbecues.

The main advantage of quick-light charcoal is its rapid
ignition. It's the best choice for gatherings with friends and outdoor camping. It burns for 3 hours at a temperature of 650-700°C. Using our quick-light BBQ set, you'll be ready to grill in just 5 minutes.

What is the difference between bamboo charcoal, fruitwood charcoal, and other BBQ charcoals?

Bamboo charcoal is made from bamboo, which has a relatively
short growth cycle, making it more environmentally friendly.

Bamboo charcoal burns quickly and intensely, making it ideal for grilling foods that need high temperatures for fast cooking. Both bamboo and fruitwood charcoals can produce unique aromas that add extra flavor
to your BBQ.

Other BBQ charcoals, such as lump charcoal or briquettes,
may have different burning properties and may not provide the same intense heat
or unique aromas as bamboo or fruitwood charcoals. Each type of charcoal offers different benefits depending on your specific grilling needs.

Can the portable charcoal BBQ set be reused?

Yes, it can be reused. We also offer replacement quick-light charcoal. After use, simply clean the foil container used for the
quick-light charcoal and the BBQ grill/pan, and it's ready for your next BBQ.

Can quick-light charcoal be extinguished and then relit?

We strongly advise against doing this.

What should I do if I have an issue with the shipping fee?

As we ship Australia-wide, all shipping fees are automatically calculated by third-party logistics companies based on the size, weight, and destination of the products. If you have any concerns about the shipping fee, please contact us before placing your order. We can try to contact other shipping companies to see if we can get a better rate.

Does bamboo charcoal produce smoke when burning?

Our bamboo charcoal is completely smokeless once fully
ignited.

Why does your quick-light charcoal ignite so quickly?

Our quick-light bamboo charcoal is coated with a fire starter on the surface, and the entire charcoal block is made from finely milled bamboo powder through a special process. Once ignited, the fire starter on the surface burns away completely, leaving no residue on the charcoal itself or your food. You can use it with confidence.

Yes, you can. Our headquarters are located in Victoria, and
we have pick-up points in Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide (located in third-party warehouses in metro areas). If you need to pick up your order, please contact us to arrange a pick-up time.
